Frequently Asked Questions.
Do you accept NDIS Agency Managed clients?
Unfortunately Hidden Connections is unable to accept NDIS Agency Managed clients due to us not being an NDIS registered provider.
What age range does Hidden Connections service?
Hidden Connections typically services clients aged 12 years and above.
There are some circumstances where Amy will see clients younger than 12 years, however, this will be a discussion that will need to be had with Amy prior to commencing any services.
What days of the week does Amy work at Hidden Connections?
Amy currently works at Hidden Connections on a Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
What is the best way to get in contact with Hidden Connections?
The best way to get in touch with us is via email at admin@hiddenconnections.com.au
Amy will endeavour to respond to your queries within 48 business hours, however, please keep in mind that this may not always be possible. Your understanding and patience with this is much appreciated.
I have seen Amy elsewhere at a previous clinic or as a previous client, do I still need to book in for an initial appointment?
Yes you will. To ensure that Amy is able to get as much information that is required as possible about you and your ongoing care, it is imperative that you are seen for an initial consultation even if you have seen her elsewhere. This will ensure that you are able to develop therapy goals and a plan with Amy and then we can determine the next steps for subsequent consultations.
Please note, all initial consultations are 90 minutes in duration, with reviews booked as either 60 minutes or 45 minutes, depending on your care needs.
What if I am unsure if Amy is the right fit for me before I book an initial appointment with her?
Not a problem at all - we can organise a time to have a brief chat over the phone or communicate over email to discuss any concerns that you may have. We encourage all prospective clients to please complete the referral form (which has been linked again HERE) to allow Amy to determine whether she feels that she will be best suited to support your care needs.
No referrals are needed to be a client at Hidden Connections.
However, if you are using a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP), previously known as a CDMP or EPC, you do require a referral from your GP who completes the form.
Do I need a referral to see Amy?
Amy has very limited capacity for home visits and these would only be able to be completed upon further discussion with Amy and on an infrequent basis.
If there was a clinical need for a home visit, as deemed in consultation with Amy and yourself, this is something that could be discussed and arranged, however, please keep in mind that Amy has limited availability and so there may be an extended wait time for this.
Is Amy able to complete home visits?
