About Us.

Hidden Connections was created in 2025 by Amy Gowland, an Occupational Therapist with a passion for recognising the unique, and often complex, journey that is encountered by those living with various invisible conditions.

We focus on the body’s hidden systems, connective tissues, the nervous system, and sensory pathways, to help clients build resilience, manage pain, fatigue and autonomic dysfunction, allowing reconnection with things in life that matter most to them.

At Hidden Connections, we recognise that the most powerful aspects of health and wellbeing are often unseen. Living with persistent pain, fatigue, autonomic dysfunction, neurodivergence, or various other invisible conditions can feel isolating and can be misunderstood by others. Our focus is on working on uncovering some of those hidden connections in everyday life, thinking about our body, our mind, our self, our environment, our strengths and our challenges.

We are a trauma-informed, neuro-affirming and LGBTQIA+ affirming practice recognising the importance of holistic and compassionate care for all individuals.
